No Calories When It's your Birthday

Hello crafty followers,

For {Pin}spiritional Challenge #64 I used Patty's Designs  Banana Split image. yummy.  I think I gained weight coloring it. LOL I used Spectrum Noir markers, layered image with Recollections all seasons collection and color box 6 x 6 light bright Designer collection.  I edge the image with memento angel pink ink and the ribbon was from my stash.  The flower was from a 6 pak of flowers  I picked up at JoAnns. The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

So many smiles

This image does make me smile as I think back to the days when I was a kid running out in the rain and jumping in puddles. And now I watch my grandchildren do the same thing.  Of course I used Spectrum Noir markers and I tried something different this time. Can you tell what it is?  I used IB1 gray marker to add shadow around the girl to make her pop. I used Spellbinders Butterfly circle die and the sentiment is from Stampin Up  The image is from Elizabeth Bell. Take a peek over at {Pin}spirational Challenge # 63 to see what our talented design team have made and be inspired. Thanks for stopping by today. I invite you to follow me along on this journey into exploring our creativity and hopefully inspire our imagination to greater heights.

Chick a dee

Hope you all had a wonderful Father's day weekend. My hubby played golf so I got to play using my Spectrum Noir Markers.
I created this card using 2 images from Fred She Said and Dew Drops Brilliance sky blue ink and Tim Holts crushed olive distress ink around the edges.  The sentiment was computer generated and I used the Spellbinders long rectangle die. The mat for the image is dark green and the base card is portrait style and embossed with Cricut Swiss Dots folder. Leave a comment and I'll come visit you too.

Welcome Home

Here is my creation using Spectrum Noir Markers for (Pin}spirational Challenge #61.  I'm posting this early because I have family visiting from out of town and wanted to make sure it was up in time due to our busy schedule. This card could be used as a new home or welcome home card.  I used a cuttlebug wood design embossing folder on the base and mat of the card.  For the sun I used  Spellbinders circle and scallop dies.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks broken glass for the sky,tea dye for the path and peeled paint to add depth.  Let me know you stopped by so I can come visit you too. As always comments are read and appreciated.

I fish you a Happy birthday

Welcome Followers
Here is my creation for  {Pin}spirational Challenge #60  I took a couple of pictures of my card because I wanted you to see the sparkle from the gel pens I used.  I learned that they don't blend very well.  I was going to use my Spectrum Noir markers but some fish have scales that sparkle when the light is just right. see second photo  Hopefully you can see that from my pictures. My colors were inspired by a goldfish. LOL. I used Tim Holtz Peacock distress ink for the edges. The image is from Dilly Beans The sentiment was computer generated and the gold ribbon was in my stash. I'm pleased with myself with the way the bow turned out for a change. LOL
